Thousands of Tesla cybertrucks have been recalled in the United States due to concerns about part of the electric car falling into the eighth and the biggest reminder of the model.
The problem affects more than 46,000 trucks manufactured in 2024 and 2025, which, according to analysts, is equivalent to almost all cybertrucks.
It sometimes happens that Tesla, who did not respond to a request for comments, is struggling with a drop in sales in the midst of a reaction against the company and its boss Elon Musk.
On Thursday, the American prosecutor General Pam Bondi accused three people of “domestic terrorism” for set fire to Tesla cars and the load terminals.
The actions of the company have dropped by around 40% since January, erasing the value of value which it appreciated after the American elections of 2024.
Tesla does not turn cybertruck sales, but the Automobile CoX Automotive technology company estimated that around 39,000 were sold in the United States last year.
The previous reminders of Cybertruck involved failing wipers, trapped accelerator pedals, a possible loss of driving power on wheels and other problems.
Tesla started investigating the last issue, involving a piece officially known as the Cant Rail, in January, according to documents filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
“The Cant rail, an exterior stainless steel garnish panel, can dix up and detach from the vehicle,” said the notice.
“A detached panel can become a road danger, increasing the risk of an accident.”
Tesla told the NHTSA that she had received around 150 drivers’ complaints on the problem, but that he was not aware of any accident caused by the problem.
The problem is covered by a warranty for new owners, and the company will replace the free room.
