PiS presidential candidate Karol Navroki was supposed to occupy a luxury apartment in a museum hotel complex five kilometers from his home for about 200 days. According to PiS MP Kazimerz Smolinski, his stay could have been caused by difficult communication around the city. “In Gdańsk, five kilometers is too much, as in Warsaw,” he said. – I never thought that the Sejm would rent a hotel five kilometers away from my place of residence and pay for it, – said Tomasz Trela (from the new left).
“Gazeta Wyborcza” wrote on Monday that Karol Nawrocki, the PiS candidate for the presidency as the director of the World War II Museum, has been using the deluxe apartment in the museum’s hotel complex for more than half a year.
According to the newspaper, Nawrocki never paid for his stay and his house is located about five kilometers from this place. Staying – even with the highest employee subsidies – requires paying tens of thousands of zlotys for this period.

The apartment is five kilometers from the house. “Finally there’s a lot of traffic”
Kazimierz Smolinski (PiS) – deputy chairman of the parliamentary regulation committee and Tomasz Trela (new left) – member of the Pegasus committee were guests of Monika Olejnik in “Kropka nad i” and explained the reports of “GW”.
The PiS deputy stated that Nawrocki “probably used this apartment after business meetings and did not go home”. – During the pandemic, communication between home and work was difficult, so he said he could stay there to be home sooner – said Smolinski.
Question about the location in the museum house. Nawrocki responds to TVN24
In response to the comment that Nawrocki lived five kilometers away from the house, the PiS politician said: – It is five kilometers in Gdansk, like Warsaw, there is a lot of traffic.
Tomas Trela reacted to this comment. – You really don’t believe what you are saying. Mr. Karol Nawrocki – like an apparatus of Law and Justice – used everything he could. I live in Lodz. There are also hotels in Łódź, I was also sick with COVID. I never thought that I would rent a hotel five kilometers away from my place of residence and that the Diet would pay for the hotel, said the MP from the New Left.
