More than 2 million pounds sterling have been made available to families in difficulty in the cost of living crisis.
People who have trouble paying energy and other essential elements are encouraged to check if they are eligible before applying at the Herefordshire Council for a part of the fund.
The authority said the government had provided 2.3 million pounds sterling. Residents could use money to get help to pay energy and water, as well as food, clothing and hygiene products.
This is one of the many projects that support people through the cost of living crisis, said the Council, with other programs available for caregivers, care, retirees and others.
People using high -energy medical equipment can also get help.
The money was provided after the household support fund, funded by the Ministry of Labor and Pensions, has been extended for an additional year.
Carole Gandy, member of the cabinet for adults, health and well-being, said that the times included were difficult for many and “sometimes it is difficult to reach both ends”.
She said: “We are committed to ensuring that our most vulnerable residents receive the support they need.”
