BOURNE, Texas – The Bourne All-Star Baseball team will face the Lake Mary All-Stars on Saturday in the Little League Baseball World Series U.S. Finals.
It's a historic matchup: According to ESPN, the last time a team from Texas won a Little League World Series title was in 1966, and according to WKMG, Lake Mary is just the third team from Central Florida to play in the U.S. championship game.
KSAT was so proud of its undefeated Boren team that, with it being Texas vs. Florida, they teamed up with sister station WKMG in Orlando to make a friendly bet.
If Bohne loses, KSAT will donate $1,000 to the Lake Mary Little League nonprofit, and if Lake Mary loses, WKMG will donate $1,000 to the Bohne Youth Athletic Association.
