A special element of the war is the war in the trenches. Reuters shared a video from the front near Donetsk. It is interesting that everything was recorded by a camera attached to the helmet of a Polish volunteer who is fighting in Ukraine in the 28th separate mechanized brigade. There are many foreigners in the unit, including Poles who serve in various formations such as the International Legion, but the details of their deployment are often classified for security reasons. – Don't scare me. Apparently, my teeth are moving, said a Polish volunteer, as he entered the trench immediately after firing a grenade launcher. The footage shows the soldiers attacking the Russians from several sides. First, you see a Pole and another soldier firing a machine gun at the invaders straight from the trench. Then a Polish volunteer gets out of the grenade launcher to fire, then switches weapons and continues firing at the Russians. The 28th brigade takes part in the battles mainly in the south of Ukraine, especially in the Donetsk region. These soldiers play an important role in maintaining the defense line against the continuous efforts of the Russian forces to break the front.
