Like every Sunday, the Pope celebrated Mass in St. Peter's Square. Along with his followers, he prayed the following prayer during the Angelus: For flood victims.
– Let us continue to pray for the people of Valencia and other parts of Spain who have suffered so much recently, he said.

Valencia is still assessing the damage caused by the floods that hit Spain a few days ago. More than 210 people are known to have died, but this is not the final death toll. King Felipe VI of Spain and Queen Letizia visited flood-affected areas. They arrived in Valencia on Sunday afternoon, accompanied by Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez. The royal couple and politicians also visited Paiporta, one of the cities worst affected by the floods.
