Several Troy University online programs were recognized in U.S. News & World Report's 2024 Best Online Degree Programs rankings, released Wednesday.
TROY's criminal justice, business and nursing online programs were all recognized as the best in the nation in the rankings.
U.S. News evaluated schools based on a variety of objective factors, including student engagement, faculty qualifications, services, and technology. Designed for individuals looking to complete or continue their education, this year's edition evaluates online programs at more than 1,750 colleges and universities. Evaluation methodologies vary by field, but all incorporate metrics specific to online learning. The rankings include only degree-granting programs offered primarily online by regionally accredited institutions.
TROY's undergraduate online criminal justice program was ranked 33rd overall and 11th among criminal justice programs for veterans. The university's graduate online nursing program was ranked 49th.
In business, TROY's undergraduate online programs were ranked 84th and its graduate non-MBA business degree programs for veterans were ranked 34th. TROY's online MBA program was ranked 129th overall and 79th among online MBA programs for veterans.
According to the rankings, TROY’s undergraduate online program overall ranked 115th in the country.

This ranking is the latest national recognition Troy University has received, including Best Regional Universities South by U.S. News and World Report, Best of the Southeast by The Princeton Review, Best Colleges by Money, Military Friendly Schools by GI Jobs magazine, Best for Vets by Military Times, Top 100 Online Colleges nationally, Best Colleges for Adults and Best Colleges for Military and Veterans by Abound.
