In addition to these accolades, LLUMC has also been rated “outstanding performing” in 11 standard adult procedures and conditions, including COPD, colon cancer surgery, gynecologic cancer surgery, heart attack, heart failure, hip fracture, kidney failure, leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma, pneumonia, prostate cancer surgery and stroke.
LLUMC-Murrieta also received high marks for four standard adult procedures and conditions: COPD, diabetes, heart attack and heart failure.
U.S. News & World Report's annual rankings are designed to help patients and their doctors make informed decisions about where to receive treatment for challenging health conditions and standard elective procedures. A “high performing” rating signifies care that is significantly better than the national average, as measured by factors such as patient outcomes.
For its 2024-25 rankings and ratings, U.S. News conducted a rigorous evaluation of more than 4,500 hospitals nationwide across 36 specialties, procedures and conditions.
