According to reports in the Ukrainian media, General Oleksandr Lutsenko has been dismissed from the position of commander of the “Donetsk” group. The reason for his dismissal is said to be due to the too rapid advance of the Russian army. His position is now taken by Oleksandr Tarnavsky. The portal also reported that Lutsenko was immediately given a new role after his dismissal. Reliable military sources claim that the sacked general has obtained a job in the ground forces. At the same time, informants reported that the Ukrainian army under Lutsenko was unable to stop a large-scale attack by Russian troops.
