Ukrainian President Vodamir Zelansky said on Wednesday that it could quickly introduce a halt of weapons with Russia regarding attacks on energy infrastructure. He also added that if Moscow violates the situation of the armistice, Ukraine will respond in the same way.
Ukraine. Conversation with Trump and Zelansky
Zellankey told journalists that he had “the most serious phone conversations” with President Donald Trump and felt constructive. He emphasized that he didn’t feel under pressure. It was the first conversation between both presidents at a controversial meeting in the oval office last month.

The White House previously announced that the US and Ukrainian presidents had agreed to halt weapons on Wednesday for attacks on energy facilities.
Zelanski has announced that Kyiv will prepare a list of facilities that could be covered in a partial ceasefire. This list includes not only energy infrastructure facilities, but rail and port facilities. He added that in his opinion, even a partial ceasefire will continue until appropriate documents exist.

Asked on Wednesday if Trump still wanted to visit Ukraine, Zelansky replied in the affirmative, saying he thought the visit would be useful to the US president’s efforts for the end of the war.
The Ukrainian president also said in a telephone conversation with Trump that the problem with Zaporosier nuclear power plant in southeastern Ukraine grew. He added that he told Trump that if Kiev was returned by Russia, he would be ready to discuss America’s involvement in modernising and investing in the power plant.
Zełenski also reported that Ukraine had received a new supply of F-16 fighter jets, but refused to disclose the exact number of machines and delivery dates.
Ukraine will not withdraw from Kursk region
The Ukrainian leader also evaluated Vladimir Putin as not wanting a complete ceasefire as long as the Ukrainian forces are in the territory of Russia’s Kruski district.
Zelankie mentioned the situation in the Kruski area on Tuesday.

– Ukraine is performing tasks in the Kruski region. As long as Ukrainian soldiers are there and this surgery is necessary. (…) In my opinion, I think the operation in Kursk meets the maximum value of that task. Putin says our boys remain on their knees, but they are not under siege, but he will not tell them when or where to retreat, Zellankie said.
Separately with Ukrainian President Voldimir Zersky’s president, following consecutive calls with Russian leader Vladimir Putin on Tuesday and Wednesday, the White House announced that the next round of negotiations on the halt of the next arms will take place in Saudi Arabia over the next few days.
