Two boys were shot while at a school in Northern California. they were taken to the hospital. An attacker who targeted children has died. At this time, the identity of the suspicious man and his relationship with the school are unknown.
The Butte County Sheriff's Office posted on Facebook that the shooting occurred at a school near Palermo, a small town just nine miles south of Oroville. According to the Feather River Adventist School website, the facility enrolls 33 students.
After the incident, the children were evacuated to the Church of the Nazarene in Auroville. Unfortunately, two children were injured and the suspected attacker was killed. Arriving officers found him suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, which turned out to be fatal.

“Parents are being asked to come by the church to be reunited with their children. The suspected shooter has died. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available,” authorities wrote.

The identity of the man who allegedly committed the act has not yet been determined. The sheriff initially said it probably had nothing to do with the school. KOIN 06 TV reported that there was a shooting near the school playground.
