Earlier on Wednesday, Axios Portal announced that American officials secretly spoke with Hamas about the release of hostages and agreed to a broader agreement to end the war in the Gaza Strip.
This is an unprecedented situation, and the United States has never been involved in any direct conversations with Hamas. Hamas has seen Washington as a terrorist organization since 1997.

Also on Wednesday, a spokesman for the US National Security Council announced that Brian Hughes has rejected the White House’s Egyptian plan for the Gaza Strip, maintaining the Trump concept. According to Hughes, Egypt’s proposal to rebuild the Gaza Strip, which was accepted by the Arab countries, does not take into account the fact that the region is now inadequate for life.
Arab leaders adopted proposals for the Gaza Strip at their summit in Cairo on Tuesday. The Cairo plan is to rebuild within five years without resetting the Gazanians.
