Donald Trump’s envoy, Steve Witkov, visited Moscow twice. In an interview with right-wing journalist Tucker, Carlson revealed how both visits look. He said the second meeting “became personal” because of Vladimir Putin’s gesture.

The envoy also said the future of peace conversation and arms halt will depend on the region of Ukraine, which is occupied by Russians. Witkov emphasizes that “the biggest problem in this conflict” is Crimea and the four circuits: Donecki, Lugansk, Zaporoski and Herson. – They were Russian and there was a referendum that expressed the desire for the majority to be under Russian leadership. I think this is an important issue in the conflict,” he said in an interview with Tucker Carlson.

Witkov added that this is a priority that must be resolved. He said that was always a problem, but “no one wants to talk about it.”
Russia demands recognition of occupied territory as territory. Ukraine has defied and argued that it would be a complete recovery of the integrity of its territory. He also does not recognize referendums held in the occupied circuit. Shortly after the announcement of the results, the prosecutor, Ukrainian general, began the voting procedure because he did not agree to hold a referendum and did not vote for an appropriate resolution. This makes voting invalid and illegal. Josep Borell said the EU would never accept “illegal referendums.”

Trump’s envoy explained that the US and Russia are working to temporarily suspend weapons. This is the basis for further peace negotiations. Everything will become clear during the subsequent negotiations.
– The ultimate goal is a 30-day weapon suspension, during which we will explain its durability. We are close, but this 30-day suspension of weapons allows us to determine all the conditions of the battlefield – that’s why I started with Kursk – he said.
