US President Donald Trump was asked during talks with the candidate ambassador, during talks with Russia in Riyadh, if representatives of the US administration agreed to Russia’s demands to abolish some sanctions in exchange for permission to suspend arms in the Black Sea.
– We see them, we’re thinking about them all now. There are about five or six conditions. We’re looking at them all – Trump said.
He emphasized that he was having a “deep discussion” with Russia and Ukraine, and evaluated them as “going well.”
Donald Trump responds to Russia’s demands. They want to abolish sanctions
Communications from Monday onwards talk about delegations from both countries in Riyadh. Both the White House and the Kremlin have emphasized that the US has agreed to help Russia “restore access to global markets for agricultural and fertilizer exports, reduce maritime insurance costs, and expand access to ports and payment systems for making this type of transaction.
However, the Kremlin of the statement noted that implementation of both parts of the contract would require the abolition of sanctions restrictions imposed on Rosielle Chotsbank, the Russian state bank that serves the agricultural sector and other Russian financial institutions.
Russia sets conditions. I’m talking about some points
Moscow also expects to abolish restrictions imposed on businesses dealing with food production and exports (including fish products) and fertilizers, as well as abolish restrictions imposed on insurance companies’ activities, food loads (including fish products) and transport of fertilizers.
The Russian Communique also mentions the abolition of restrictions on vessels and restrictions on port vessels under the Russian flag, the abolition of restrictions on food trade (including fish products) and vessels containing fertilizers, and the supply of agricultural machinery to Russia, and the abolition of other goods including food production (including fish products) and fertilizers.
At least some of the terms set by Russia are not the responsibility of the US, but the European Union. These include the assumption of reintegration of Russian agricultural banks in the international communications system between Swift Banks.
“The Kremlin is lying again,” Zelanki thunders after a Moscow message.
Ukrainian President Wołodymyr Zielnski assessed that little agreement has been reached on the Black Sea and energy infrastructure ceasefire, and that Russia has already relied on operations.
– They have already distorted the agreement and are actually trying to deceive both our mediators and the whole world. The White House has issued an absolutely clear statement. Everyone can see what they say. And then the Kremlin is lying again. The suspicion of silence in the Black Sea depends on the issue of sanctions, and the date on which silence begins on the issue of energy is March 18th. Moscow is always lying – the president pointed out.
An agreement between Ukraine and Russia. Two issues have been agreed
The US State Department announced in a statement from U.S. Conversation – Russia and the US – Saudi Arabia’s Ukraine that Moscow and Kiev have agreed to “provide safe navigation, eliminate the elimination of force, and prevent the use of commercial vessels for military purposes in the Black Sea.”
Both Russia and Ukraine were also to “develop funds to implement the president’s agreement on banning attacks on energy facilities in Russia and Ukraine.”
In Saudi Arabia’s capital, Riyadh ended on Tuesday with a speech on Russia’s liberation war on US and Ukrainian delegations. The negotiations were of a technical nature. Discussions were held about US and Russian delegations before meetings with Ukraine and American delegations on Monday, lasting for about 12 hours.
