IBRiS, commissioned by Rzeczpospolita, asked respondents whether they agreed with the statement that our country will be safer after Donald Trump's victory in the US presidential election.
The survey, published in Thursday's daily newspaper, shows 33 per cent agree with this assessment. 51.1% of respondents hold the opposite opinion. The number of respondents was 15.9%. I have no opinion on this matter.
The newspaper points out that this question is mainly expressed by ruling party supporters (76% of responses), while PiS and Coalition voters have no such opposition (64%). Left-wing voters are skeptical.

The vote in the United States shook public opinion around the world. After voting closed on November 5th, the first results began to come in, with the Republican candidate emerging as the front-runner.
In the end, Donald Trump could count on more than 300 electoral votes. The politician's key to victory was winning in all battleground states. These include Pennsylvania, Michigan, North Carolina, Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin, and Georgia.
The IBRiS survey on 'Rzeczpospolita' was conducted between November 8 and 9, 2024 using CATI methodology among a group of 1,067 respondents.
