How Donald Trump Will Shape Our World, Part 2. Are We Facing a Clash of the Giants?
The American press has already named him “co-president of the American Republic”. For several months, he almost always appears with Donald Trump. Not in the shadow, not a step or two behind the president-elect, but right next to him. Maybe even like… equal? This is how Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, enters politics. Will she stay there long? And to what extent will it depend on the appreciation of Donald Trump’s loyalty?
If we think that the exciting year of 2024 is behind us, what can we say about the year that is just beginning? When trying to predict something, we certainly want to know not only who will be the next president of Poland, but also (and how) the war in Ukraine and the Middle East will end in 2025, what will happen to the global crises? – immigration and climate – and what the second term of Donald Trump’s presidency will bring us, when he is sworn in on January 20.
In the first part of my predictions about how Donald Trump will shape our world, I wrote, among other things:
the results of the elections in the US were largely influenced by prices and the promise of the Republican candidate to impose tariffs, which Trump threatens to China, Canada and Mexico, in practice looked different; and NATO may not be America’s definitive ally when Trump returns to the Oval Office.

Today I want to take a closer look at the situation in the United States itself. What domestic enemies has the new American elite already found and will find? Is billionaire Elon Musk part of it or above it? What did the Americans who supported Donald Trump really vote for: for his big and controversial projects or just for what was best for their wallets?
