The second country with which Venezuela cut diplomatic ties due to the dispute over the results of the presidential election is Peru.
“Venezuela has decided to terminate diplomatic relations with the Republic of Peru (…) after the inappropriate statement of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Peru, which does not take into account the will of the Venezuelan people,” wrote the head of the Venezuelan diplomacy. , Ivan Gil Pinto, on the 10th of July.
