Vienna police intervened on a man who threatened to explode a bomb. In this way he prevented the operation of the TV.
A truck driver blocked it in front of the headquarters of the Austrian public broadcaster ORF in Vienna. The 53-year-old also threatened to enter the building and threatened that there was a bomb in his car. Police ordered evacuation and station programmes were stopped.
At about 5am on Tuesday, the small truck driver stopped and then entered the headquarters of the ORF in Vienna Hitzing and blocked the entrance. He threatened to enter the building and the police were called.

The man told the intervening officer that the bomb could be in the cargo space. For this reason, the safety cordon was set up.

During the action, the building had to be evacuated and several streets were closed. “For safety reasons, a wide closure zone has been designated, and the buildings within it are evacuated,” said Vienna police on Platform X.
This event resulted in an immediate disruption to all broadcast ORF programs. Explosives experts searched the truck and its surrounding area, but as police informed, no dangerous items were found.

It was also revealed that the man was already in detention in a similar situation. Last December, he blocked the road and parked a truck in the Helden Platz area to pay attention to the car’s inscriptions.
The motives of the 53-year-old being guided are unknown. Investigators exclude that it belongs to the right-wing and estrome environment. He also has no connection to the fundamental moves he is fighting for environmental protection and climate.
