When asked whether Ukraine’s concessions to Russia were necessary, Trump responded positively.
He refused to mention them, but “(It can tell you about NATO) – you can forget about it. That’s probably why it all started (War – ed).”

When asked about what US security assurances could offer, the US president rated it as “not too many” because Europe should take care of it.
“Europe is our neighbour, but we guarantee that everything will go well,” Trump said, supporting the idea of sending “a highly call peace forces” from the UK and France.
He added that the US would support Europe on the issue, but refused to identify how.

At the same time, he evaluated the raw materials agreement itself as guaranteeing Ukraine’s security.
-We work there. We are on this planet. (…) This is simply automatic security. Because no one will play with us when we are there. So we’re there. But Europe will look at it very carefully – Trump was guaranteed.
Zelanski flies to America. Trump wants to sign a contract
Trump said at a press conference Tuesday that President Zelsky will come to Washington on Friday to sign a contract to extract rare lands in Ukraine.
-I heard he was coming on Friday, but I certainly didn’t care if he wanted to sign with me – the US President said.
His statement comes hours after the UK’s daily “Financial Times” reported that Ukraine had agreed to the terms of the contract. As the “FT” informed, Washington has waived its most stringent demands on Kiev, including the potential revenue rights of $500 billion from the exploitation of these mineral resources.

The new text of the contract is that money will be used to invest in Ukraine. It is also just a preliminary agreement. More detailed terms will be negotiated under the following agreement:
On Wednesday, Wołodymyr Zelanski announced that he would ask Donald Trump directly whether he intends to suspend Kiev’s military aid during his visit to Washington.
