“We are in the middle of talks, and I think some leaders are positive,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said, referring to the issue of talks on creating a peace mission in Ukraine. The president said this was a “sensitive topic” and the talks would be concerned, among other things: Possible mission formats.
The Europravda portal writes about the possibility of sending NATO soldiers to Ukraine after the last ceasefire. Journalists close to the Ukrainian president said the topic of a peace mission was discussed at a meeting of European leaders in Brussels.
Volodymyr Zelensky himself admitted at a press conference that he had discussed this issue with French President Emmanuel Macron, a proponent of such a solution.
– Told Emmanuel about his idea. We support the idea of strengthening Ukraine. Emmanuel contacted several leaders regarding this matter. We are in the middle of a debate, but some leaders are looking forward, he said.

At the same time, the President of Ukraine refused to comment on the possible format of the mission, inter alia in the following context: Number of troops and location of troops. As he explained, this is a “sensitive topic” that will be discussed in detail in closed-door meetings.

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius has spoken in recent days about the possibility of sending soldiers from NATO countries to Ukraine. The politician noted the need for the Alliance and other international organizations to actively participate in peacekeeping.
However, when asked about the stationing of Bundeswehr soldiers, he declined to comment, explaining that it was not a topic currently under negotiation between Western countries.

– If a ceasefire is reached, of course Western societies, NATO partners, and possibly the UN and the EU will need to discuss how to ensure such a peace, a ceasefire. And of course Germany, Europe's largest economy, will play a role here, he explained.
