The Russian President declared that “the work of the Foreign Relations Committee will resume,” thanks to the meeting, and he called the end of the Ukrainian conflict “a Russian priority.”

Vladimir Putin said that the US delegation in Riyadh was deprived of his prejudice and “acted without judgment.” He noted that the purpose of the consultation was to raise mutual trust. The Russian president has shown that Russia is willing to talk about peace in Ukraine. “We are ready to go back to negotiations,” he declared.

Putin said he was informed by Donald Trump about the fact that Ukrainian representatives would be involved in the conversation. He also ruled that “he does not need a mediator.” The president said that the Russian and American teams must prepare solutions that are acceptable to both sides.
Putin is willing to meet in person with Trump
The Russian leader has confirmed that he willingly take part in a meeting with the US president, but that must be prepared.
