A Russian drone crashes into a skyscraper in Kiev. Several apartments on the top floor went up in flames. Residents have been evacuated and emergency services are working at the scene.
Russian drones attacked an apartment building in Kiev on Friday night, Reuters reported, citing Ukrainian officials.
Serhiy Popko, head of the capital's military administration, said the fire had spread to several apartments on the top floors of a building in the Solomyansky district west of the city centre.

“A fire broke out in a building in the Solomansk region after enemy drone attack. The 17th, 18th and 19th floors were damaged. Rescue teams are on the scene,” Mayor Vitali Klitschko said in a telegram.
No information on casualties was provided.

Photos and recordings of the skyscraper were posted on social media. You can see the fire rising from the top floor. The building is filled with smoke.
Popko also said that debris from the drone fell on a vacant lot in the central district. No casualties were reported.
