According to Ukrainian intelligence, an Mi-24 attack helicopter was destroyed in a Ukrainian military attack on an airport near Moscow. On Sunday, Kiev attacked the Russian capital with at least 32 drones. “The occupiers will be justly punished for all crimes,” Ukrainian intelligence services warned.
“On the night of November 9-10, 2024, a Russian Mi-24 attack helicopter was destroyed at the Klin 5 airport in the Moscow region,” the Ukrainian intelligence service (HUR) reported.

According to the findings of the Kiev investigation, the burnt out aircraft belonged to the 92nd Squadron of the 344th Center, which is intended for combat use by the Russian military and for the retraining of air crews.
“Ukraine's military intelligence service reminded that the occupiers will be duly punished for any war crimes committed against Ukraine,” the HUR announced.

A day earlier, Russian authorities reported that Ukraine had attacked Moscow with at least 32 drones on Sunday morning, leaving one person injured as a result of the attack. The capital's largest airport, Sheremetyevo, was temporarily closed. Media outlets emphasized that this was Ukraine's largest drone attack ever on Moscow.

The Union Agency reminded that in early August, as a result of the attack on the Nizhny Novgorod military airport, three enemy aircraft were destroyed and five more were damaged. Later, an air base in the city of Karachi on the Don River was attacked by Ukrainian forces, and Kiev forces attacked warehouses with bombs and fuel.
According to estimates by the Ukrainian General Staff, Russia has lost 369 aircraft and 329 helicopters since the start of the war.
