On Monday, the Khmelnytsky Oblast was under the longest alarm since the start of the war. Residents were forced to be on extreme alert for 11 hours. At the time, Russia was attacking the area with drones. Their actions, among other things, even the destruction of an apartment.
“Today, the longest air alert has been issued in Khmelnytsky Oblast since the beginning of the war,” Serhiy Tyurin, head of Khmelnytsky Oblast, said on Monday. The alarm went off all night and into the morning – 11 hours to be exact.
During the attack, the Russians directed drones into Ukraine. According to Tyurin, the Ukrainian Air Defense Force destroyed 10 enemy drones.

As a result of the actions of the occupants, residential buildings, garages and car windows were damaged. Fragments of the drone and an apartment building also fell to the ground. The service attempted to determine the exact location of the fall.

There are no reports of fatalities or injuries at this time. The attack did not cause any damage to critical infrastructure, and the district chief assured that “all relevant services are operational.”

The longest alert in Khmelnytsky Oblast occurred just two days after the dramatic attack on the region. On Saturday, a Russian drone crashed into an apartment complex and a hotel. At least four large cities in the region also experienced numerous fires and power outages.
