Russia can prove that it wants to end the war by halting attacks for civil purposes and halting operations at sea – said Ukrainian President Woudamirzersky, who is taking part in the European Commission’s summit. The theme of the Thursday meeting of European leaders is, among other things, further military aid for Ukraine to combat Russian invasion.
“Everyone must ensure that Russia accepts the need to end it as the sole source of this war. It can be proven in two quiet ways. (Ukraine-ed.) According to the Ukrainian president, another step on the Russian side is to prove his good intentions. As he pointed out, this can be done by swapping prisoners. This is considered a “means to establish basic trust.”

Zelanki then emphasized that “Ukrainians really want peace, but they have not paid the price to give up on Ukraine.” At the same time, he suggested that all countries supporting Kiev should participate in peace negotiations.
