During the night, three passenger cars and a private property were burned in Vaver. Firefighters put out the fire for several hours. No one was injured. According to our informal findings, the vehicles could have been set on fire.
The fire happened in the night from Monday to Tuesday on Podkovi Street. Firefighters reported that after 1:00 a.m. they extinguished the fire of three cars in the property and the roof of the building. Three teams participated in the event. The fire extinguishing operation continued for about three hours.
Not all cars were next to each other
As the reporter of tvnwarszawa.pl Artur Vegrzynowicz was able to determine, the fire occurred in the property of a one-room apartment. The fire broke out in cars parked next to each other.
– As a result of this fire, the “Toyota” car, which was standing next to the building, was completely burnt. The facade of this building was also burnt. In addition, the Volvo was burnt and the Toyota, which was next to the Volvo, was also partially burnt. The gate of the garage, in front of which there were two cars, i.e. “Volvo” and “Toyota”, was also burnt, – our reporter was informed. – First, one of the “Toyota” and the front of the “Volvo” were burned, but the cars were parked in different parts of the yard. From here, it can be suspected to be arson, he concluded.
Authorities will investigate the cause of the fire.
In the spring of 2019, a similar fire occurred in this area. Then, at night, a fire broke out in the area next to one of the Vaver car repair shops. Nine cars were destroyed and some of them were completely burnt.
