Changing some words in the song's lyrics angered Russians. At an ice skating competition in Warsaw, a line from the hit song “Rasputin” was altered. “It's a clean water scandal,” the Russian trainer reacted.
One of the couples performing at the ISU CS PGE Warsaw Cup figure skating competition being held in the capital recently decided to dance to the hit songs of the band Boney M. The pair representing France, Geoffrey Brisseau-Evgenia Vopaliova (born in Russia, but has been representing France since 2018), chose the song “Rasputin.”
However, one phrase was changed during the performance. The phrase became “Ah, those dancers” instead of the original “Ah, those Russians.”
Warsaw. They changed the lyrics of the song. Russian trainer reacts
This change caused quite a stir in Russia. Russian coach Tatyana Tarasova said in an interview with TASS news agency: – Perhaps the entire text should be scrapped. At least it seems to have calmed down this time. I don't want to think about why there is a language problem in the middle of the season, why they didn't do it in August. “This is a clean water scandal,” she added.

The two dancers had previously performed without interfering with the song's lyrics.
Meanwhile, the website sport24.ru suggested that the text change during the Warsaw Games was not an action by the International Skating Union. “Perhaps the problem lies in the location of the tournament. The attitude towards Russia in Poland is not positive, to say the least.''
