The next stage of reconstruction in Slujevec

The reconstruction of the bicycle path and the intersection of Suwak and Domanewska Streets in Warsaw’s Sluzzewiec district is entering the next phase. A new organization of the movement will be introduced from Tuesday. This especially affects the passengers of bus line 218.
At the request of the Mokotov district, pedestrians will connect the bicycle path along Suvak street with the existing Domanevska path. The intersection of both streets will be reconstructed within the scope of one investment. It should be removed, which makes it safer.

The next period of work is approaching, which is expected to move the underground installations to another place. This will change the organization of the movement.
“From Tuesday, January 7, in the morning, a part of Domanevska Street will be closed up to the intersection of Suvak. Drivers coming from Postpepu Street will go to Domanevska 52 office complex. The detour will pass through Konstruktorskaya Street. Drivers. On Suvak Street, traffic will be as before. but the lanes will be narrowed to three meters, this organization of traffic will be in effect until the end of January,” said the statement of the capital’s government.
The next work period is planned for March. Then the contractor will occupy one half of the intersection, then the other, and the next movement will take place on Suvak Street.

Changes in bus routes
From Tuesday, January 7, buses on line 218 will not reach the metro station Vilanovska. The route will be shortened to roundabout number Pi and Osiedle Nowy Mokotów station.
“Vilanowska metro station and Osiedle Poziticny Mokotow station are connected by the Z18 replacement buses. From the metro station they go to Aleja Vilanovska, Voloska, Domanevska, Postenpu and Konstruktorska, and from Osiedle Poziticny Mokotow: Konstruktorska, Voloska and Aleja Vilanovska,” says mayorship
