Former Deputy Minister of Justice, current MP from Law and Justice Marcin Romanovsky has been wanted since Thursday with an arrest warrant. – Mr. Romanovsky, of course, is very disappointed. When I went to this studio, I thought how desperate you are to run away at the age of 48, said Bartos Arlukovic of the Civil Alliance in “Facti po factach”. Polish People's Party MP Krzysztof Getman said he was sure that “the services will do everything to find the MP and take him to the place where he will live in the near future.”
The National Prosecutor's Office accuses Marcin Romanovsky of committing 11 crimes, including: participation in an organized criminal group and falsification in the competition to receive money from the justice fund. In 2019-2023, Romanovsky was the deputy head of the Ministry of Justice and supervised this fund.
Romanovsky was wanted on an arrest warrant since Thursday. Bartosz Arlukowicz from the Civil Alliance and Krzysztof Hetman, a member of parliament from the Polish People's Party, discussed this in the “Fakti po factach” newspaper on Saturday.
– We do not know where Romanovsky is. We only know what the picture looks like after one year of our coalition and one year of the new government, said Bartos Arlukovic from the Civic Coalition in “Facti po factach”. He mentioned that the head of the State Agency for Strategic Resources is in custody in London, the founder of the company “Red is bad” was brought from the Dominican Republic by a special plane, Romanovsky “disappeared”, Vasik and Kaminski were pardoned by the court. President and Minister Nidzielski were condemned.
– Mr. Romanovsky, of course, is very disappointed. When I was going to this studio, I thought how desperate you would be at the age of 48 to escape from the position of deputy minister, parliamentarian, justice system, police, service. – said the guest of “Facti po factach”.

– Imagine what happened there. He is relatively young, Arlukovic said, and at the same time asked if Romanovsky was “going to hide his whole life.”
– This shows how important the issues we are currently dealing with are, – said the deputy from the Civil Alliance. In his opinion, Romanovsky was not hiding “for a small reason”. He added that “we do not observe such situations – when the deputy minister (former editor) is wanted with an arrest warrant – in Europe.”
– One last sentence to all those who still hope to escape like Romanovsky today, or we will look for them in the Dominican Republic or Greenland. We have enough planes. We will bring you, all PiS scandals, even if we bring you from the other side of the world, we will bring you, Arlukovic assured.
“This shows the hypocrisy and indolence of Mr. Romanovsky”
– I remind you what Mr. Romanovsky wrote on July 12 on social networks. I will quote only the first sentence: “with the decision of the Sejm, contrary to the story of the prosecutor, I do not intend to disrupt any proceedings or run away or lose consciousness.”
– This shows the hypocrisy and cynicism of Mr. Romanovsky. But I am sure that the services will take all measures to find the deputy and bring him to the place where he will live in the near future. I suspect for a long time – said Krzysztof Hetman, PSL representative.
