A part of the money received by the Profeto Foundation from the Justice Fund was used for the personal expenses of Fr. Michal Olszewski – reports “Gazeta Vyborcha”. According to the documents, more than 55 million PLN were spent on the construction of the center for victims of crime called Archipelago – Islands without violence, and the remaining 13 million were spent on other purposes. Funds should include the priest's parents, colleagues and socks that the priest decides to sell through his website. When asked about the case, PiS lawmaker Michal Wojcik said he “approaches this type of information with caution.” – If you provide this information, I can immediately ask why the prosecutor, who has such information, did not charge more, – Wojcik asked. – There is nothing logical here, because if it is as written by the journalists, this type of information means that another accusation will be brought – repeated the guest of the program. He emphasized that he is waiting for the position of defense attorney of Fr. Olshevsky, because “we already had a lot of distortions and tricks” in this matter. Patrick Michalski, the narrator of the program, also asked about the sale of the priest's socks and how it relates to the goals of the Justice Fund. – Mr. Editor, you overestimate my knowledge, I suggest once again that we wait for the position of the defense in this matter, because how should I know how the expenses were made? What the journalists of “Gazeta Wyborcza” are proposing is illogical, said Wojcik.
