PiS repeats that Karol Navroki is a candidate for citizenship. However, after his speeches, it is clear that he repeats the well-known views of PiS on the main issues – from Germany, through the neo-judges and the European Union to Smolensk.
Karol Navrotsky tries to solve the problem of his election campaign and announces that he will immediately go on vacation to the Institute of National Remembrance. The candidate also asks for leave from his opponents, but only he is obliged by the legal provisions, which as the president of the National Memorial Institute should, in short, be apolitical, but he is not. Therefore, leave is minimal for the entire campaign period.
Rafal Trzaskovsky, as he said, separates his duties in the mayor's office from the campaign. – When I am busy all day in the election campaign, I have always taken a vacation and I will continue to take a vacation, – assures the mayor of Warsaw.

Karol Nawrocki is a new face in politics, but after several public speeches it is already clear that he repeats a number of PiS's political views and sympathies: on reparations, the court, Smolensk and the European Union.
According to him, “the neo-judge category does not exist”.
“It would be naive to think or not think that this could be an attack,” he said about the Smolensk disaster.
He said about the European Union that he is against centralization.

The lack of party emblems at his meetings may confuse the voters and the slogan “stop the war between Poland and Poland”. Because, as we hear, Karol Nawrocki, when he was appointed the director of the World War II Museum by PiS, started a war with the workers.
– He just fired, fired, forced others. The manager has many ways to do this. Others, unable to cope with the atmosphere, left, – informs prof. Pawel Maccewicz, historian, director of the World War II Museum in Gdańsk in 2008-2017.

How Karol Nawrocki fought against Pavel Adamovich
Another war broke out around the museum and the exhibition itself. – He made arbitrary changes, politically, I think. (…) According to the recommendations of President Jarosław Kaczynski, says the deputy director of the World War II Museum in Gdańsk, Dr. Janusz Marsalek.
There was also a fight with the Gdańsk authorities, and President Pavel Adamowicz was reported to the prosecutor's office. And then the battle for Westerplatte, which was finally taken by force by a special act of the PiS government. – There are no obstacles, and he believes that the red and white flag justifies any behavior, – says Aleksandra Dulkiewicz, the mayor of Gdańsk.

The Westerplatte Museum is still under construction. An exhibit was also purchased there – a stretcher, supposedly from Westerplatte, but actually post-war and completely worthless. “Historians don't work like that,” says Professor Rafal Vnuk, who is the director of the World War II museum. – He should think critically. He must seek the truth and not assume that something must be right, he emphasizes.
Karol Nawrocki also owes the position of head of the Institute of National Memory to PiS. He also fired the staff of the Institute of National Remembrance, but he drank coffee and took pictures with an MMA fighter and – as the media reported – an ex-criminal.
