Police received a report of an accident in the area at 9 a.m. Sunday. The collision occurred on the Wrocław bypass near Jany.
– Five vehicles were involved in the collision. Five people were taken to hospital, but fortunately their condition did not pose a threat to life or health, Senior Sergeant Mateusz Zientka of Wrocław City Police Headquarters told Polsat News.

Preliminary findings suggest that the cause of the accident may have been a failure to adjust speed to suit road conditions. Tests showed no alcohol in the driver's system.
– Considering the situation outside, you need to remember to maintain a suitable distance from the vehicle in front and adapt to the road conditions, – the police officer reminded.
Before noon, the service continued to work to restore traffic on the route of the accident.
