The Ostroleka District Court overturned the verdict of the Vishkov District Court, which father Lukash R. The vicar was accused of sexually assaulting a boy under the age of 15.
As the spokesperson of the Prosecutor's Office of Ostroleka Elzhbieta Edita Lukasevich told us, the trial started with the indictment against the priest Lukash R.
-Rohin was accused of sexual abuse of a minor under 15 years of age and abuse of the clergy's trust in a minor, promise of both financial and personal benefits, recording obscene material, providing such material to a minor and possessing it. content containing images created by minors, participation in sexual activity, intoxicating minors and criminal threats – said the prosecutor.
The alleged offenses by the vicar were committed between December 2011 and January 2016.
Rouhani was sentenced to six years in prison
The prosecutor said that the cases of sexual crimes identified in the investigation were confirmed in the Vishkov district court. On January 9, 2024, he found Father Lukasz R. guilty of the crimes charged and sentenced him to a total of six years in prison.
– In addition, for a period of 10 years, holding any position, carrying out any profession and activity related to upbringing, education, treatment of minors or their care, prohibition of contact with the victim in any form and prohibited was announced. about closer than 100 meters for 10 years – said prosecutor Lukasevich.
He added that the court also awarded PLN 50,000 compensation to the victim and ordered the convict to undergo psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy “due to the violation of sexual preferences.”
– On December 1, 2024, the Ostroleka District Court considered the appeal of the defendant's defense attorney. He did not agree with the arguments presented by the lawyer and left the entire verdict of the Vishkov district court unchanged. The decision on the work of Lukash R., the speaker said at the end.

As he informed, “procedures arising from the provisions of church law have been initiated and the prosecutor's office has been informed at the same time.”
In 2021, the prosecutor accused Lukash R. of sexual crimes committed against a minor under the age of 15.
The trial started at the end of January last year. It took place behind closed doors.
