I had a positive, very substantial and honest conversation with President Donald Trump of the United States – Wowodymill Zielnsky said. The Ukrainian president estimated that “permanent rooms will be achieved later this year.”
Zelanski of Platform X announced during a meeting in Saudi Arabia that he thanked Trump for “thanks for starting his Ukrainian and American teams well. He emphasized that it would have a major impact on his pursuit of an end of the war.
“We have agreed that Ukraine and the United States should continue to cooperate in achieving the true end of war and achieving lasting peace,” he wrote in his belief that it could happen this year.

The Ukrainian president said Trump shared details of yesterday’s conversation with Vladimir Putin. “One of the first steps towards the end of the war could be the end of an attack on energy and civil infrastructure. I supported this step and confirmed that Ukraine is ready to implement it,” he declared.

He reminded me of the Americans at Duda who proposed to halt unconditionally weapons for 30 days on the frontline. However, the idea was not approved by the Kremlin. He pointed out that Ukrainians will strive to reach such an agreement as they need to prepare a comprehensive peace plan.

“I also presented current information on the battlefield situation and the outcome of the Russian attack. We spoke about the situation in the Kruska region. We raised the issue of the release of prisoners and the return of Ukrainian children who were kidnapped by the Russian army,” writes Zelansky. He added that the possibility of strengthening Ukraine’s air defense and strengthening to protect life has also been discussed.

He announced that Ukraine and American delegations are ready to hold another meeting in Saudi Arabia in the coming days. “During the subsequent meetings, the team can agree to all aspects needed to strive for a permanent room and security guarantee,” he added.
Zelasky also agreed to stay in touch with Trump at the highest level.
