Ukrainian President Vody Mirzelansky announced that he had spoken with the secretary of the Holy See of the Pietro Parolin Cardinal.
“We are grateful for the rapid recovery of Pope Francis’s provincial reverence, thanking us for our country’s prayer and moral support and helping us return to the homes of Ukrainian children who have been deported by Russia,” he said in an entry on website X.
Zelasky sues the Vatican for help. “They received their list.”
Zelansky also showed the Holy Sie the list of names of Ukrainian men and women detained in Russian prisons and camps. “We rely on support for their release,” he complained.
As he appreciated, the prisoner exchange and a 30-day ceasefire are the fastest steps that could lead to just and lasting peace. “Ukraine wants peace more than anyone else, so Ukraine is ready to conclude them,” he emphasized.
