The Ukrainian president added, “He feels that these are not just words.” – You send help to soldiers and civilians. It’s important that we’re not alone. This is a signal to strengthen production in the arms sector, and a moment to strengthen European defence.

Antonio Costa spoke before the President of Ukraine. The President of the Council of Europe said the peak was a “critical moment” to strengthen security in Europe. He appreciated the quick response that allowed you to make the right defensive decision.
He added that Europe’s security and defense is “not separate from Ukraine’s defense.” He emphasized that “a better situation in Ukraine will serve Europe.” He thanked President Volodimia Zeransky and assured him until the European Union stood alongside Ukraine to reach peace and later joined the alliance.

– Dear Voldimera, we will be with you from day one. We will continue to support you. We will also support you in the future during peace negotiations that Ukraine determines there is an appropriate timing. And most importantly, the future in which Ukraine will become a member of the European Union – he said.
Ursula von der Leyen also thanked Zelanki, stressing, “You have to act together.” “This is a groundbreaking moment for Europe and Ukraine is part of the European family,” she said.
-We want to achieve peace through strength. So today I want to present my leader with a plan to repeat Europe. This gives member states financial space to invest in defense – the European Commission chair said. – What matters is the EU’s real removal of all European countries, but also Ukraine’s support – she added.
