Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa and Wyndham Clark will be on the U.S. team during the Paris Olympics.
When rapper Macklemore isn't performing on stage or in the studio writing new music, he's usually found on the golf course.
Macklemore, whose real name is Benjamin Hammond Haggerty, fell in love with golf thanks to his manager, Ben Secord, who took him to Hawaii for the first time.
But it wasn't love at first sight for the music star.

“My grandfather was a scratch golfer, so growing up, one of my first jobs was as a cart boy at the course,” Secord told FOX Business. “I loved playing. I took a long break from golf, but I started playing again about 10 years ago. I forced Ben out. We were together in Hawaii, and I said, 'Let's play nine holes together.' Ben hated every bit of golf. He was like, 'I hate the golf culture. I feel like I'm always in somebody's way.'
“He always does, he steps out on the court, hits that one feel-good shot and thinks, 'I'm going to do this every day for the rest of my life.'”
As Macklemore began to fall in love with golf, his love of fashion eventually led him to combine the two passions, and thus Bogey Boys was born in February 2021, quickly becoming a well-known golf and lifestyle brand on and off the course.

For three years, Bogey Boys has partnered with several big name brands, including Adidas, to produce golf clothing and apparel that helps all players, regardless of skill level, look good while they play.
But their latest collaboration with Ebbets Field Flannels struck a different chord with Macklemore and the Bogey Boys' GM Secord. Why? Hometown appeal.
“We launched the brand in 2021, and it's a Seattle brand,” Secord said of Bogey Boys, “so in a way, collaborating with Ebbets was one of the most natural things for us to do. When you think of Ebbets, you think of vintage. You think of very high-quality products. And you think of Seattle because that's the city we grew up in.”
Secord explained that Macklemore's team had previously collaborated with Ebbets Field Flannels during the musician's global rise, so they were “mutually excited” to work with them again on a golf brand.

“I think everyone on the Ebbetts team knows Ben and his history, and knows that he puts 110% into everything he does creatively,” Secord says. “So that's really reflected in the first three years of Bogey Boys. He's the true founder and creative director. He designs every piece. Samples are sent to his house. He and I try on pants, measure the inseam, touch and feel the fabric, probably almost to a fault. But that's who he is. I think the people who've worked with Ebbetts for so many years and created kind of the roots and identity of the brand know that about Ben, so they were excited about it.”
The collaboration has resulted in several golf-related items, including head covers and a heart-shaped ball marker in collaboration with Lids.
As for apparel, Secord was delighted to see Ebbets' trademark adjustable wool cap, and while flannel jerseys were also a favorite of the Bogey Boys, he knows what Macklemore most wanted to see was a V-neck baseball jersey.
“The thing I'm most excited about is probably their V-neck batting practice jerseys,” Secord said, “and one of the stories behind that is, when we're on the road, Ben usually likes to find a local jersey or something and throw it on during the set. Last summer, he fell in love with some old Mitchell & Ness vintage mesh batting practice jerseys of all the baseball teams, so if we were in Minnesota, he'd probably get a Twins jersey or something.”
“So with this collab, first I was like, 'I need to get a V-neck practice jersey.' And seeing that come to fruition was really cool, too.”

Bogey Boys is one of the top golf lifestyle brands outfitting golfers as they head to the course each week, and Secord is excited to be part of this rapidly growing community.
“It's not about, 'Fuck the country clubs,'” Secord said of the different golf course styles the Bogey Boys bring to the game. “It's about getting more people into golf, making golf more accessible and pushing the envelope in the sense of, 'Maybe you don't always have to wear a certain kind of pants and tuck in a certain polo shirt.' There's room for more.”
“I think it's important to break down those barriers a little bit and say, 'OK, you can come out, have a blast, have a great time, and we've got clothes for you to wear and look great in.'”
Creating another brand and clothing that embodies what it means to be from Seattle is even more exciting for the Bogey Boys.

“Anytime Seattle is at the forefront, it feels like something special,” Secord said. “[Macklemore's]have had the opportunity to tour all the far-flung places in the world, and to perform in their hometown of Seattle is a unique experience. So to be able to collaborate with an iconic Seattle brand feels like a really authentic outlet and a really great creative project. Having two Seattle-based brands collaborating is really something worth being a part of.”
