Marketplace health premiums for individuals and small group employers will rise by 8 percent and 9 percent, respectively, next January, but the hikes will be less steep than this year's double-digit increases and less steep than insurers initially proposed. Maine Insurance Commissioner Bob Carey recently approved health insurance rates that will take effect on January 1, 2025. Vietnam-based shipping company Asia Pacific Shipping has decided to order two liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) carriers in China. The company has contracted with China's Jiangnan Shipyard to build two 50,500 cbm LPG carriers, each valued at $102 million, according to data from Intermodal Shipbrokers.
