There are far too many times when I cannot help but despise ESPN, more for what it has chosen to be than for what it is and will continue to be. I despise that instead of protecting and preserving the sport, they choose to destroy it for no reason at all. I hated ESPN within seconds of turning it on Sunday evening to watch the Tigers vs. Yankees game at the Little League World Series site in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The show opened with a collection of flashy videos of major leaguers brandishing bats, striking attention-grabbing poses, and postgame swaggering –…
Javon Baker spoke highly after the New England Patriots selected the wide receiver in the fourth round of this year's NFL Draft, saying he felt there weren't 10 better receivers than him, not just in the NFL but in the entire country. However, Baker hasn't exactly backed up those rumors with his play on the field. Indeed, after two preseason games and multiple training camp practices, Baker's reputation is looking bad. The 22-year-old struggled with dropping balls this preseason and was perfect on a deep pass from Drake Maye in last week's exhibition game against the Philadelphia Eagles. But that…

Pixel 9 Pro XLEwan Spence Ten months ago, Google announced the arrival of AI smartphones with the launch of the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. The annual update cycle has arrived early as Google touts its dominance in generative AI. To deliver on its latest promises, new features must be rolled into capable smartphones. If you're outraged by Trump's use of AI and deepfakes, don't be angry: That's exactly what he wants | Sophia Smith Gaylor
A few weeks ago, Donald Trump thought it would be funny to accuse US Vice President Kamala Harris of using AI for an image of a crowd greeting her at the airport. “Did anyone notice that Kamala cheated at the airport?” Trump asked angrily, jabbing his thumb into his phone. “There was no one on the plane and she used AI… She should be disqualified because making fake images is election interference. Anyone who does that cheats on anything!”Just as some animals are more equal than others, some politicians are more honest. So when the former president himself posted an…
MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. — The McCracken County Property Assessment and Control Office is now collecting residential street photos using a 360-degree camera mounted on a vehicle called the InstaPro 360 Pro 2. According to Bill Dunn with McCracken PVA, the technology makes collecting photos quicker, cheaper and more accurate. Dunn said it could take the office weeks to complete photos for a single neighborhood. With the technology, it takes about an hour, he said. The device costs $5,500. Photo taken in…
