Reuters, referring to the Bloomberg news agency, reports that for the first time, Ukraine launched a long-range cruise missile Storm Shadow at Russia. The possible details of the attack are not known. According to the report of the Ukrainian military website “Defense Express”, it was possible that the “Shadow Storm” was used to attack the command of the Russian army in the Kursk region.
The Reuters news agency wrote about the launch of the first French and British missiles towards Russia, that the spokesman of the Prime Minister of Great Britain, Keir Starmer, refused to comment on this topic.
Reuters noted that Britain has given permission to Kiev authorities to use Storm Shadow cruise missiles, but only to hit targets inside Ukraine's internationally recognized borders, meaning these missiles can attack Russian targets in annexed Crimea.
After Biden's decision
On Monday, the British newspaper “The Guardian” wrote that after US President Joe Biden allowed Ukraine to use ATACMS missiles to attack targets deep in Russia, a similar decision by the British authorities regarding Storm Shadow missiles is expected.
Storm Shadow (French name – SCALP) is a cruise missile with a range of 250 km, similar to the American ATACMS.

Reports from the Defense Express portal
According to the Ukrainian military website Defense Express, the “Shadow Storm” could be used to attack the headquarters of the Russian army in Marino, Kursk region. The portal analyzed the records found on social networks. He wrote that the Ukrainian forces could have used a very large number of missiles for this attack, as about 15 explosions were heard in the recordings.
Russian troops in the Kursk region are supported by North Korean troops.
