The date of the commission for which Piotr Pogonowski will be forcibly taken away has been set for December 2nd. So far, he has failed to appear in court three times before being summoned by parliament, as he was head of the Internal Security Service from 2016 to 2020 and is currently a member of the management board of the National Bank of Poland.
In October, the commission investigating how the Pegasus software was used during the PiS government adopted a motion to detain Pogonowski and bring him in for questioning. “The joke is over.[This is]a warning to everyone, including Zbigniew Ziobro,” said left-wing committee vice-president Tomasz Tolera.
The above application was submitted by KO Member of Parliament Joanna Kurzik Rostowska. Seven committee members voted in favor of adoption, one abstained, and there were no opponents.

He has not appeared before the “Pegasus'' committee, despite being summoned in response to the ruling that his appointment was incorrect. ;According to the Constitutional Court, they have always been members of parliament.
